Chassis 85
Information supplied by Graham Smith
This chassis was built to order for a customer in Ireland who provided a Cadbury choc bar and said it must match the colour!! Steve Owen had paint specially made up to suit. It was delivered to Ireland, but the customer sent it back unused as he had no use for it. At that stage it had a Blackbird engine installed. Steve stored it and Graham Smith bought it in Jan 2009. Steve rebuilt it and made all the alterations Graham requested including fitting a ZZR 1100 unit and declared it as manufactured Jan 2009. The engine has subsequently been built and tuned by Mistral Racing engines.
Webmasters Note:
The car in Graham's capable hands has been the one to beat in Class 5A at Harewood for the past 2 seasons. It also narrowly missed winning the Auto 66 Speed Championship in 2011.

Chassis 95
Information supplied by Craig Powers
OMS2000m Chassis number 95 was built and supplied to the late Dr. David Flanagan in 2002. The car was fitted with a turbo-charged ZZR1100 engine on methanol but suffered a number of reliability issues with its dry sump system, leading to a number of engine failures. The car was purchased as a non-runner by Craig Powers in 2007, along with the terminally damaged engine. The car was simplified by fitting a normally aspirated ZZR1100 engine, running petrol on Keihin FCR flat slide carbs and Dyna 2000 ignition. In this guise the car has competed for 4 seasons reliably, winning a number of north west regional championships in 2010

Chassis 123
Information supplied by Clive Austin
My 2000m (Chassis 123) is a ZZR1100 (1095) with previous owner Andy Dobson who used it with his partner in Northern sprint events. The chassis date for 123 is 2006 although I believe it may have been converted from a PR by Steve and the 2006 probably refers to the conversion date. I acquired in late 2009. Converted to high nose spec by me over Winter 2010 / early 2011 and re-christened 2000m-HN
