This diminutive Hornet chassis was bought new by Dave in 2004. He fitted it out with a with Yamaha R6 600cc engine.
This is the original Hornet chassis which was debuted by Dave and Steve Owen at Prescott in 2005. A very successful car, being the first 600 under 30 sec at Shelsley Walshe. Dave went on to finish 2nd in the Leaders Championship in 2007 with the Hornet with multiple Midland and Leaders class wins. More recently it was loaned to Mark and Annie Goodyear, the car still holds the 600 record in Mark’s hands at Harewood and it's Currently for sale …..

Owned by Andy until Feb 2010 and sold to Joe Courtney in Ireland.
Engine was a Powertec 1400cc with MBE management. The car was kitted out with Penske shocks and a Mono-shock conversion. In Joe Cortneys hands it has been converted back to twin shock configuration. Joe is currently selling the car (April 2012)
