Chassis 56
Information supplied by Richard Vaughan
Manufactured in 1998 for an as yet unknown customer who used it very little and put it into storage for some years. The car was purchased in 2006 by father and son Jon and Jonathan Stockley from Herefordshire. The engine was and still is a standard 1993 Suzuki GSXR Air cooled unit of 1098cc cubic capacity. The family team used the PR in Midlands Hill Climb events for 3 years until part exchanging the PR with a newer OMS 2000M from Manchester based Mike Fitzsimons.
The PR passed into my hands when I bought it from Mike in October 2009. Since then the car has remained standard until now. Winter 2011 has been spent refreshing the engine and replacing the original standard carbs with Keihin Flat Slide racing carbs and modified exhaust cam. The PR will be a family driven car again in 2012 when my son Matthew cuts his teeth in hill climbing by share driving the car.
